Tilting concrete monoliths frame a metal-rich red river nearing the beach and the sea.
My purpose was to summon up timeless elemental forms that, though man-made, would fit in an otherwise pristine landscape.
Will future archeologists endlessly debate and publish learned papers on the purpose of these constructions? Place of worship, dike, fortification, sepulcher?
Possibly the remnants of a far larger enigmatic building built with perishable materials?
