HKU and the Jockey Club asked me to suggest an art installation for a student college that was undergoing extensive renovation work.

It had to be something quick and easy to construct. And cheap. At street level, possibly in the lobby.

However, there were just too many constraints: most likely it would have turned out off tune and size in a large and non-descript lobby, little more than a pumped up Xmas decoration.

So I decided to remain on the side of the main entrance and to trasform a plain service and emergency gate into a rather disturbing battery of doors: there may be just one designated way to get in, but there are many ways out.
