Urban Micro Gardens

Unpretentious, stubbornly resisting to traffic and pollution, they strive in what may appear a quite hostile environment and create selfsufficient microcosms of greenery.

They do not need to be attended, watered, manured or pruned.

In fact they are hardly noticed at all, but for those who can see they appear as welcomed oasis in a world of asphalt and stone.

To create them, all you require is to dig a hole in the street pavement or in the sidewalk, at an hour when nobody is around and you run the risk of being by splattered a passing car.
