2019 Real Trompe-l’œil

A neat job commissioned by Amazon: a room that fittingly enough is an illusion.
It is real (nowhere on the web), yet it manages to create an apparent reality that overcomes information about its true shape and the location of objects and persons in the room.

I particularly liked it rough and “naked”, but the finishes made it “souvenir” perfect and visitors happily queued to have their pictures taken.

Un bel lavoro commissionato da Amazon: una stanza che, non a caso, è un’illusione.
È reale (non si trova sul web), eppure simula una realtà che travalica le informazioni che si riescono a cogliere sulla sua vera forma e sulla posizione di oggetti e persone al suo interno.

Preferivo la stanza grezza e “nuda”, ma poche finiture l’hanno resa perfetta per una foto “souvenir” e i visitatori si sono messi felicemente in coda.
