2023 The Strasbourg chairs

In the charming church of Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune in Strasbourg, I was offered the opportunity to tell a new chapter on the chairs’ social life. Here a small community of mismatched chairs, which became useless due to dwindling attendance, gathered in a dead-end corner of the adjacent cloister and piled up one on top of the other, to seek protection and comfort in the number and in their mere mass.

To be sure they know how to form a choreographed artful ensemble!

2023 Le sedie di Strasburgo

 Nella affascinante chiesa di Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune di Strasburgo mi è stata offerta l’occasione di raccontare un nuovo capitolo sulla vita sociale delle sedie.
Qui una piccola comunità di sedie scompagnate, diventate inutili per una calante partecipazione si sono riunite in un angolo morto dell’attiguo chiostro e si sono ammonticchiate l’una sull’altra, per cercare protezione e conforto nel numero e nella loro mera massa comune.

In effetti sono davvero brave nel creare una artistica composizione coreografica.
