2026 Wet Combinations (Paris)

Since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated by the traces left by water droplets on a glass surface. In an era when television programs lasted a few hours in the evening, when darkness fell on a monotonous rainy day, I found it a delight to study and construct adventures around the ephemeral kinetic compositions traced by the flow of the drops.

This year, my less-than-scientific attempts encountered the right combination of temperature, viscosity, and light for the first time.
Conditions that I may struggle reproducing.
I’m nonetheless enchanted by the result.

2026 Combinazioni bagnate (Paris)

Fin da bambino sono sempre rimasto affascinato dalle tracce lasciate dalle gocce d’acqua su una superficie vetrata. In un’epoca in cui programmi televisivi duravano poche ore serali, quando calava il buio di una monotona giornata piovosa era per me uno spettacolo studiare e costruire delle avventure intorno alle effimere composizioni cinetiche tracciate dallo scorrere delle gocce.

Quest’anno i miei intermittenti poco scientifici tentativi hanno incontrato per la prima volta la giusta combinazione di temperatura, viscosità e luce.
Condizioni che sarei peraltro in difficoltà a riprodurre.
Sono ugualmente orgogliosamente incantato del risultato.
