2026 Conversation Pieces 2 (Paris)

In the 18th century a conversation piece was an informal group portrait, showing a family or a sometimes groups of friends – socializing  or chatting in a garden settings.

Nowadays, the group can be much smaller and maybe limited to a meeting between two friends or lovers.Hence my idea of ​​a suite, which evokes a series of situations:
–       Father, Mother, Son
–       Lined up
–       Different visions
–       Conflicting ideas
–       Face to face

2026 Conversazioni 2 (Paris)

Nel XVIII secolo, un “conversation piece” era un ritratto di gruppo informale, che raffigurava una famiglia o talvolta un gruppo di amici intenti a socializzare o chiacchierare in un giardino.

Al giorno d’oggi il gruppo può essere molto più ristretto e anche limitarsi a un incontro tra due amici o amanti.

Da qui la mia idea di una suite, che evoca una serie di situazioni:
– Padre, madre, figlio
– Schierati
– Visioni diverse
– Idee contrastanti
– Faccia a faccia
